Community Advice Service Association Branch
Over the years the CASA has become an open house to groups and individuals from across the Merseyside community who are fighting for a cause or have been hurt and victimised by the financial and political structures that govern today’s society.
In line with a new initiative that is supported by UNITE the UNION'S General Secretary Len McCluskey the CASA Community Advice Service is forming a New Trade Union Branch that will specifically give community assistance to people who are faced with problems related to Employment Support and Social Justice.
The Branch which will meet on a monthly basis at the CASA will be open to all who live and work in the local community and believe in the values of workers rights, individual rights and acknowledge the dignity of all human beings.
Members will benefit from the combined services given by the CASA in the areas of Welfare Advice, Employment Support, Consumer Rights and Solidarity Campaigns etc. Along with the legal services and collective strength provided by Unite the Union which is the largest trade union in Britain and Ireland with 1.5 million members.
